We buy the cacao for this bar from Tanzania, from the producer Kokoa Kamili. Their fermentation station is located in the small village of Mbingu, a twelve-hour journey on dusty dirt roads from Dar Es Salaam. We have collaborated with Kokoa Kamili since 2016.
