Our Ceremonial Cacao is ethically and organically sourced from Indigenous Maya families in both Guatemala and southern Belize. These families uphold sacred farming practices, passed down through generations for thousands of years, deeply rooted in the traditions and wisdom of the Maya people.

Each cacao pod is believed to be protected by the spirit of the land, and taking cacao without reverence disrupts this sacred balance. This sense of reverence infuses every step of the cultivation To protect not only this rare type of cacao (that’s being threatened by big cacao cooperations), but also the life of the indigenous Maya families, and to support ethical and sustainable cacao;
