Have you ever tried Bubble Tea? Bubble Tea, or Pearl Milk Tea, is the trend drink from Asia: it is made on the basis of tea with various ingredients such as milk, juice and syrup. With tapioca pearls, the star of every bubble tea creation, it becomes a unique treat.
Made of the brown-coloured root of the manioc plant, the mild and slightly sweet tapioca pearls mainly consist of starch. After only 5 minutes in boiling water, our pearls already develop into black bubbles. Combine them with teas of your choice and other fun ingredients to make individual and creative Bubble-Tea beverages, such as Peach Melba Lemonade and Raspberry latte.

RASPBERRY BUBBLE LATTE

Ingredients: 

1 teaspoon Raspberry Tart green tea blend

200 ml hot water (75 – 80° C)

1-2 tsp. sugar – to taste

1-2 tbsp. tapioca pearls

50 g raspberries (fresh or frozen)

50 ml milk

Ice cubes

Whipped cream

Raspberry sauce

Preparation:

Put the tapioca pearls in boiling water and simmer for 3 minutes. Leave to infuse for a further two minutes with the lid on. Then cool with cold water. Meanwhile, pour 200 ml of hot water over the tea
together with the sugar and leave to steep for 2-3 minutes. Add the raspberries, milk and ice cubes. Add cream topping and decorate with raspberry sauce.

PEACH MELBA FROZEN BUBBLE LEMONADE

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon fruit tea blend Peach Melba

200 ml boiling water

1-2 tsp. sugar – to taste

1-2 tbsp. tapioca pearls

50 ml 0range juice or cranberry juice

50 ml blackcurrants or other desired berries

Ice cubes

Sparkling water

Preparation:

Add the tapioca pearls to boiling water and simmer for 3 minutes. Leave to infuse for another two minutes with the lid on. Then cool with cold water. Meanwhile, pour 200 ml of boiling hot water over the tea along with the sugar and leave to steep for at least 10-12 minutes. Add the juice, berries and ice cubes. A dash of sparkling water can be added if desired.
