ASSAM LATTE WITH PEACH
Rich coconut cream makes this latte creamy and soft. The delicate fruity flavour is sweetened with aromatic vanilla sugar . Make sure you blend your latte evenly and well so you can get really smooth texture and indulgent flavour. The black and strong Assam tea leaves give a character to this latte. Enjoy it any time, anywhere!
Ingredients:
1 ripe peach, cored and sliced ( you can use a canned peach if you wish )
650lm of boiling water
3 tbsp of Assam leaves
6 tsp of vanilla infused sugar ( you can use vanilla essence )
150ml of top thick layer of canned coconut cream, plus 2 tbsp of milk layer
Special equipment: smoothy blender
Let’s start:
- Place the peach slices in a teapot ( or large bowl ) and add boiling water just to cover the fruit
- brew Assam leaves with remaining boiling water in a separate teapot, steep for 3 min. Strain into the peach infusion and steep for another 2 minutes.
- pour into a blender, add the vanilla sugar, coconut cream and coconut milk. Blend everything until evenly smooth. You can see it creates a nice froth.
Serving:
serve hot, topped with a little coconut cream. You can sprinkle some cinnamon powder just to make it more special!
ASSAM LATTE WITH SEVILLE ORANGE
This special latte recipe is for everyone, who loves a slightly bitter , orange zesty taste. Make sure you get a good quality Seville Orange marmalade. A smooth Almond milk adds some delicate sweetness to this drink. This is a pure joy for all vegans!
Ingredients:
3 tbsp of Assam leaves
650ml of boiling water
240ml of sweetened Almond Milk
2 tbsp of good Seville Orange marmalade
Let’s start:
- brew the tea leaves with boiling water in teapot or large ball, steep for 3 min. Strain the tea and discard the tea leaves
- in a saucepan, warm the almond milk with a marmalade on low heat until the marmalade melts
- remove from heat, strain the orange rinds, and pour into a blender
- pour the Assam tea and blend together
Serving:
Pour into the serving cups from a height to create the froth, serve hot immediately
